AMAYA power banks come in a range of sizes, from slim units that slip into a pocket to higher-capacity models built for travel. This page explains how the range is organised and how to pick the one that matches how you use your phone.
The main question is how long you are away from a socket. If you simply want insurance against a flat battery on the way home, a compact model is enough and far easier to carry. If you are travelling for a day or more, or charging several devices, a higher-capacity unit earns its extra weight. Remember that usable output is lower than the printed capacity — energy is lost during voltage conversion — so allow some margin.

Fast charging needs three things to line up: the power bank, the cable and the phone must all support the same standard. If any one of them is limited, everything runs at the slower speed. This is the most common reason a "fast" charger feels slow, and it is usually the cable that is the weak link.
Power banks must travel in hand luggage, never in checked baggage. Airlines assess them in watt-hours: multiply the mAh figure by the cell voltage (typically 3.7V) and divide by 1,000. Units up to 100Wh are generally allowed without prior approval under widely applied international rules; 100–160Wh needs airline permission. Check with your carrier before flying, as rules vary.
Avoid leaving a power bank in a hot car or in direct sun, and stop using any unit that swells, becomes unusually hot, or no longer holds charge. Storing it around half charged, rather than empty, is kinder to the cells over the long term.
