The ASW series

The ASW line is AMAYA's main smartwatch range:

Case size and comfort

A watch is worn for hours at a time, so size and weight matter more than any feature list. A larger case makes the display easier to read; a smaller one sits more comfortably on a slim wrist and is less likely to catch on a sleeve. If you plan to wear it overnight for sleep tracking, lighter is better.

What the tracking actually tells you

Wrist-based sensors are useful for spotting trends rather than for clinical measurement. Step counts, activity minutes and resting heart rate are most valuable when compared against your own history week to week. Treat any single reading with a degree of caution, and never use a consumer smartwatch as a medical device.

Battery life in practice

Quoted battery figures assume default settings. Raising screen brightness, enabling always-on display, or tracking continuous heart rate all shorten runtime, sometimes by a large margin. If battery life matters most to you, turning off always-on display is usually the single biggest saving.

Pairing and notifications

Smartwatches connect to a phone through a companion app over Bluetooth. If notifications stop arriving, the usual causes are the phone's battery optimisation closing the app in the background, or notification permissions being switched off — both are settings on the phone rather than faults on the watch.
